Happy 65th...

Yesterday marked the 65th Anniversary of Rough Close, our local scout camp site.
Three generations of my family have benefitted from having this wonderful site on our doorstep.

They held a free open day where you could try out scouting activities & crafts.

Harriet crate climbing.

Making knotted dragonflies.

Plus rope bridge, rifle shooting & loads to see with birds of prey, ferret racing and a police dog display.

All finished off with a campfire and scout songs old & new.

They had a blanket badge made specially too.
