Learning to Drive.

Last weekend I had the chance to spend some time with my lovely Chatty Scrapper Team Mates.
As well as having a baby shower & a lesson on a couple of new crafting tools I got a little scrapping done. I was probably the slowest scrapper in the room but I was happy with what I created in the time.

Be Positive.
I used the Jot May mood board challenge as my inspiration & the cut file they have included this month. The circles reminded me of steering wheels & thats how this page started.
The background was created using various mists to emulate my son's t-shirt.
The photo documents his current driving lessons.

Making Cards.

Again I've been using my trusty Silhouette to help make birthday cards for family & friends & I thought I would share some them with you.
The cut files are  all from the silhouette store.
I like the simplicity of the designs & tend to add very little to them.
This is a particular favourite.
Thanks for looking x

Happy Anniversary x

22 years ago, today, on a dry but blustery day we tied the knot at St Mary's Church, Wimbledon Village.
I love this photo from our wedding album & scrapped it at a retreat a couple of weeks ago using more of the MME On Trend plus a cut file from The Cut Shoppe.
First time I've used rub ons on a page in ages, they were so easy to use, I will have to remember to get more.
Happy Anniversary Paul x

Love you lots xxx

NSD scrapping.

Last saturday was (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day & it fell on our regular crop day which made it perfect for a little challenge scrapping.
Our crop organisers Deb & Lisa challenged us to make a page in 2 hours using one of 10 sketches, a choice of 10 titles & using a "borrowed" item from a crop bud. We saw the sketches & titles in advance but the scary thing for me was the time issue. I'm not known for being speedy ever!!I was pleased with what I achieved in the time using one of my most favourite ranges so far this year - MME On Trend.
I borrowed various mists off my table bud, Sam to create the messy background. The photo was taken by Matt whilst in South Africa a couple of years ago.

I'm only left with a few offcuts of this paper but hope to squeeze one more page out of it.
Did you get to be creative last weekend ?

Me on Monday.

This bank holiday weekend found me...
...at my local crop -The Moxley Massive, taking part in a 2hr scrap lo challenge, having friends round for dinner, celebrating with some fizz, reliving our childhood playing traditional games, having a lie in, hair curling for DD & tucking into impromptu made cookies that filled the tray!! x
Today sees me making the most of the weather getting dirty fingers rather than green!!
There is nothing like a little gardening to remind you of your age!!
Thank you Sian for devising this meme x
