Last saturday was (Inter)National Scrapbooking Day & it fell on our regular crop day which made it perfect for a little challenge scrapping.
Our crop organisers Deb & Lisa challenged us to make a page in 2 hours using one of 10 sketches, a choice of 10 titles & using a "borrowed" item from a crop bud. We saw the sketches & titles in advance but the scary thing for me was the time issue. I'm not known for being speedy ever!!I was pleased with what I achieved in the time using one of my most favourite ranges so far this year - MME On Trend.
I borrowed various mists off my table bud, Sam to create the messy background. The photo was taken by Matt whilst in South Africa a couple of years ago.
I'm only left with a few offcuts of this paper but hope to squeeze one more page out of it.
Did you get to be creative last weekend ?

I'm glad I'm not the only slow scrapper lol! Beautiful page x
ReplyDeleteI love all the little touches of gold. That scripty background is just gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't get any scrapbooking done at all last weekend.
ReplyDeleteI love the combination of the mists with that patterned paper..and it looks like it's not the only great pairing on that page!
Love how this looks.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely photo and you've really made it shine with this layout. I have that same paper, and I love the way you have used it.
