Guess Who ??

Here's another Lo using my ScrapaGoGo October "Spice of Life" kit.
I love the blue / brown colour combo as it suits loads of different photos.
I've used a jokey one of me taken in Australia, with it explained on a tag behind the photo.
The burlap trim reminded me of the binka & aida fabric we used in needlework classes when I was a child so I dug in my stash for some thread & stitched my title using backstitch on the trim.
 Many thanks for looking xxx

Going on a Bear hunt...

On Sunday we were honoured to have Bear Grylls, Chief Scout come and visit our local camp site, Rough Close during a County Skills Day, as part of his flying visits around the country. Hundreds of Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network, Leaders & Helpers turned up for a fun filled day in the sunshine wonderfully organised & run by scouting members in the Districts.
Our daughter attended & even though she didn't get a chance to talk to Bear Grylls, she took some great photos of him on her phone.

Playing with paper...

In my mind October is synonymous with the GoGo Getaway :) so when I opened my ScrapaGoGo Spice of Life October kit I immediately started looking through my photos from last year & I came across this one of me taken by the lovely Eileen.

Autumn Frolics.
To create the trees I used the exclusive stamp on the yellow cardstock with clear ink which I then embossed using clear embossing powder. I used mists from my stash to spray over these which allowed the resist to show through showing the lovely stamped pattern. The addition of a Maya Rd wooden twig finished them off nicely.
My title is a combination of the printed hybrids & the AC Amy Tan alpha which fit perfectly in the journalling spot, embellished with a wooly felt. I added falling leaves & the picket fence all cut from the patterned papers in this kit.

many thanks for looking x
