Frosty Festivities Blog Hop

Welcome to the Frosty Festivities Blog Hop.
At this time of year I like to make a start on my Christmas makes. This year I plan to crochet some decorations and some present tags. For these sort of makes I usually find  free patterns on Pinterest.
I chose a tree design this year. After crocheting this "Granny Square" style tree I sprayed it with laundry spray starch & allowed it to dry naturally, to help it hold it's shape when on my tree.
I've also made a selection of these small stars to decorate special presents with. They still have a hanging loop so the recipient can use them as a decoration if they so wish. Here's a close up.
I'm now planning on making some bunting with lots of multi coloured stars to decorate our bannisters.

  13. Oh I would love to learn to crochet! Your little tree and star are so cute! I just bought a how-to book and DVD on crochet - it included all the needles and what-not so I'm hoping I'll be able to catch on quickly so I can make adorable decorations like these! Thank you for the inspiration! Love!
