Project Life - march.

I'm still loving this project & am even more pleased that I'm pretty much keeping up to date so far this year. It helps that I do keep notes as the month goes on of the big & the not so  big things that happen plus recapping our photos in the hope that I don't miss anything out.
So here is our March which included...
...Dan on TV again!, CT retreat, movie time, a fall, a party...
...dinner with friends, craft shopping with Jackie, Nuns & Noses!!...
... visit to Bletchley Park, Chase Walk, Mothers Day...
... turning 15, spa day, PL 2014 finished...
... solar eclipse, Hobbycraft show shopping, Sam Smith , Gang Show...
... GoGo Getaway teaching, Debate Champions, Dan & Lex in Egypt...
Many thanks for looking x

Me on Monday.

Lately I feel like I've been neglecting my little blog so to help me get back in the swing of things I'm going to try & take part in Sians monday meme which I gather entails a monday selfie & a resume of the weekend.

This afternoon finds me inside with recovering feet, catching up on chores & keeping my feet warm now its turned chilly.
It was a weekend of giraffe crochet, scrummy cake, drive to Windsor, all you can eat hotel breakfast, hours of standing, Bear meeting, Proud Mum moment, Parade watching & homeward journey.
This was our second time witnessing the St Georges Day Queens Scout parade at Windsor & it makes me feel so proud to see so many young people achieving this top award.

Day Tripper.

A few weeks ago we went down to Bletchley Park, for the first time. Our interest was fuelled by watching the Alan Turing film - The Imitation game starring Benedict Cumberbatch which we had found really informative & enjoyed. We found it to be a really interesting place & were glad we had wrapped up as the site is quite spread out.
I wanted to make a page about our visit using some of the pics I'd taken on my iphone.

The background is in fact a word search cut file from the silhouette store & I love how you can spot words if you look hard enough. The papers & embellishments are a mix chosen for there colour.

We would really recommend it as a great day out x

Love U.

Over on UKS my teamie Niki Rowland is hosting a monthly Stash Bash challenge. She has created great monthly prompts, full of inspiration to help us use up some of our stash. I have used a sketch from her January prompt to create the background for this Lo featuring a selfie by my daughter.
Love U.
Its really therapeutic cutting & then sticking all these scraps of paper.
I didn't want to cover much of the lovely background so I created 2 clusters, one around the photo & another for the title.
I really love how it came out.
