Daniel and his Explorer Scout Unit aka The Rhinos have been at a national event this weekend called WINTER CAMP held at scouting HQ ,Gilwell Park near Chingford Essex.
This weekend involves sports , challenges , generally having a good time and making new friends.
What I haven't mentioned is that they were CAMPING , yes camping ,with temperatures reaching -6 saturday night !
In scouting we believe there is no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing !
Well Dan went well prepared and from his texts is having a great time.
They even made the national news
Looking forward to having him home and hearing all about it .
