Distressed...

is the Twist for this weeks Twisted Sketches sketch 149.

Our Xmas Camel.
I love these photos of Matthew when he was a camel in the Naivety in Reception. Costume wise he was quite happy with the ears attached to a hairband but would not wear the brown tights supplied by the school so I ran up a pair of brown "pyjama bottoms" for him to wear instead!

A real mix of supplies again this week as I try to use up my stash :) The paper edges are all distress & so is the metal frame plus paint splatters on the background.
Many thanks for taking the time to look xxx

Grade One

When I opened April's ScrapaGoGo kit, Going for a Song I was immediately reminded of a couple of photos I'd recently taken on my phone of my daughter practising her piano pieces ready to take her piano exam in the next couple of weeks.

Grade One.
I used the exclusive stamp to produce this frilly border which now reminds me a little of piano keys. It did take a bit of cutting out but as it's not an intricate shape it didn't take very long to do & I love the effect.
The Lo was finished off using the hybrids, MME stickers & the Dear Lizzy alpha stickers.
 many thanks for looking.
