Again I'm joining Sian in her weekly meme, Me on Monday.

Last weekend found us on Saturday, fundraising for the Jamboree, cooking burgers & running a bottle tombola, found me wearing my first maxi dress/sandal combo of this summer, found Matt Dalek driving!!& locked in a police van!! all at the fete I hasten to add. Sunday was a little slower thankfully but I managed to visit an old friend who was showing her art work as part of Warwickshire's Open Studios. She is a fabulous painter & I have one of her works in my home.

Today finds me stripping & trimming these stunning sweet williams to go in our hall. A lovely home grown gift from my Dad xxx

Vintage Love Affair Layout.

Today I thought I'd share with you the single page layout I taught at the ScrapaGoGo event at the beginning of the month.

Adored.

I'd wanted to use an old photo with this class to show how versatile these Websters papers are & to tie in with the name of the event.

The main focus of this class was the construction of the photo frame which was inspired by crocheted frames I'd seen on line. Although this was a little fiddly the Ladies all completed their frames in class.

Last weekend found us celebrating big style on the Saturday at the wedding of my little brother & his beautiful bride. The day went perfectly despite the weather & we had a fabulous time. Sunday being Fathers Day got us gathering together again for tea reminiscing about the day before.

Today found me tired but happy,tiding up & sorting out from our busy weekend including returning the suits the boys wore.

Project Life - April.

Now we are nearly half way through the year, April seems so long ago but because I tend to work on PL a month at a time I always feel behind. Never mind, he is what April had in store for us...

... driving with L plates,school holiday shopping, Moxley Logo...

... trips to the theatre,London, afternoon tea, seeing the Shauns... 

 ... to fit in all the ones we saw I made a little extra pocket to fit the pics in ...

Today finds me joining in with this delightful meme from Sian x

This weekend found me feeling under the weather, hiding from the rain on Saturday altering neckers for the fast approaching Jamboree & being taken to the cinema to cheer me up. Sunday by contrast was dry & I felt able to escape to listen to The bands in the Park whilst sitting on the grass.

Today finds me back behind the machine making Karate Kid type headbands for my Monopoly Unit Jamboree Kids with some fabric I found last year in Australia!

A Vintage Love Affair.

Last weekend I had the pleasure of teaching along side my lovely friend Sam Ball for GoGo Getaway at their 2 day event, A Vintage Love Affair, in Wanborough. This was my 3rd time teaching there, the atmosphere was really relaxed & everyone had a great time.

I taught 2 classes. 

I kicked off the event with this mini book & project combo.

The mini book fits perfectly within the camera box & was big enough to hold 18 6x4 photos.

The papers used are from Websters Pages.

The Ladies attending really seemed to like it & lots had brought their photos with them & some even finished it.

I'll share my other class over the weekend.

For me it was a weekend full of blue skies, teaching classes to lovely Ladies in Wanborough, laughing, reminiscing, Giraffe eating, cocktail drinking from jam jars...

Today finds me enjoying more sunshine in our garden whilst resting my tired feet.

Scrapping your Travels.

For my Hey Little Magpie post last month I focused on using some of the travel collections available in the shop.

There are some great papers around at the moment & this page Love South Africa was made using Crate Paper Journey.

The puffy stickers & cork alpha in this collection add real dimension.

This page showcases Pink Paislee - Atlas collection using a large photo and lots of embellishments.

The chipboard and tag packs contain lots of really useable pieces.

Here I've used the My Minds Eye - Hello World collection. Its more muted tones are so easy to work with.

There are lots of embellishments in this range & I particularly like the flair & wood veneers.

After finishing the first three Lo's this one was a collaboration of the leftovers on my desk top. I was pleased how well they all went together.

 The title is a Heidi Swapp wood veneer.

For us it's been a weekend of 2 halves, out and in. Saturday spent out, shopping & enjoying Coventry's Motofest in the sunshine and Sunday in due to the weather with end of holiday breakfast, ironing & loads of revision.

Today finds me playing Project Life catch up listening to the rain outside.
