This time last year I was hurriedly packing so that we could travel to South Africa to watch our eldest play rugby there.
I took this photo only a few days after we arrived from the top of Table Mountain. To be honest it had taken all my courage to go up in this cable car but as the journey only lasted 2 minutes I braved it & boy was it worth it for the views.
I was thrilled when this lo was chosen for the holiday gallery in Scrap 365 magazine which is due in the shops this week.
We Were Here.
For the background I utilised all the scraps of paper I'd been holding on to & punched them all square. By keeping all the colours natural the photo still takes centre stage.
A scattering of embellishments were added to complete the look.
Many thanks for looking x

Gotta love a patchwork background :) It gives a lovely nod to the idea of all the different things you saw when you were there too
ReplyDeleteLove your background.
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised it's been chosen, the background and the photo are amazing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of squares. I am so afraid of heights, I don't think I could have taken that tram ride.
