That's a lot of chocolate! What a good friend you are. My niece is in Australia (for a year) at the moment. I wonder if she is missing her favourite choc bars?
Nom nom nom - I am in the process of making up a similar style box for my Dutch friends. Dutch sweets are mainly liquorice based and not very nice. Their children love Cadbury's and the grown ups like Jacob Crackers and Shortbread.
This made me smile - I once discovered that a small roll on suitcase if filled with chocolate weighed 70lbs (max weight at that time for a plane) and have just seen a Q Australian friend post a photo of a suitcase of Tim Tams and Cherry somethings which arrived here in the UK for her :)

ReplyDelete...and if you leave all the choc on Oz, you'll have room in that suitcase for bringing souvenirs back with you :) have a wonderful trip!
ReplyDeleteOnly familiar with the Cadbury bars but if I lived afar I would be ecstatic if someone arrived with a suitcase of my favs from home!

ReplyDeleteThat's so thoughtful! We bring home a ton of UK mars bars whenever we are there because they are different from what we have.
