Me & the Mouse

I'm about to spend a couple of days away scrapping with friends so I thought I'd share a page I made last time I was away with them last year.
Me & the Mouse.
Based on a sketch I found on Pinterest I used Simple Stories Say Cheese to scrap this photo of my daughter.
I used the packaging technique to ink the background to soften the edges of the design.
Thanks for looking.

Memorandum Monday

Here I am joining in with this new meme from Sian about what something new you did or learnt at the weekend. This is my first time joining in with this.
The Danish Girl.
I saw this movie at the weekend and it was amazing, not just the acting but the story itself. After the movie I was so interested in her story that I came home & googled Lili Elbe to read more about her. I learnt more details that the film only touched on & maybe its because I'm a nurse but I was fascinated by the advances in medicine that assisted Lili in her transformation & which also lead to her death.
I can't recommend the film enough.
Hope you have a good week.

One Little Word 2016

Firstly I would like to wish you all a Happy New Year xxx

At the start of each year I like to play along with Ali Edwards and think of One Little Word to help guide me through the year to come.I've been doing this for a good few years now & I do think it helps focus me.
This year I've chosen...
This year has changes in store for  all of us & we will need the help & love of each other to move on & grow as individuals & as a family.
I look forward to what the coming year holds x
