Scrapping Love.

Whilst having a quick look back on my blog I realised I've not been sharing all my scrapping. So I thought I'd share a page I made whilst away with the DT team from Hey Little Magpie. We had an absolute hoot all together in a cottage for a weekend.
Love.
The photo is a favourite of mine, featuring my Son & his girlfriend sharing a moment at a party last year.
The design was inspired by a digi layout I'd seen but I used bits from my scraps basket to layer up. Topped with a KI Scribbles word & some touches of gold.
Many thanks for looking x

Lets GoGo Getaway.

This weekend we will be getting together at this beautiful hotel for a fun filled GoGo Getaway retreat.
I will be teaching 3 classes over the weekend.
Get Stuck In.
 Pressed to Impress.
 A real page turner.
I'm really looking forward to catching up with old friends & meeting newcomers too. I'll share full images of my classes next week.

Special card for a special Lady x

Yet again when I needed a card I turned to my trusty silhouette for help. This time the occasion was Mothers Day. I found a file I liked in their extensive library & after choosing the cardstock I set the machine to work it's magic.
I was really pleased with how it came together & I added jewel centres to the flowers before writing our message on the reverse, so not to spoil its look.
Mum was really pleased with it too x

Birthday Girl x

As I'm sure I write every year, I can't believe how quickly time is passing.
This day 15 years ago we were eagerly awaiting the late arrival of our baby girl Harriet Rose to make our family complete.
Over the past 15 years she has matured into a wonderful, kind, creative, determined young lady who makes us proud to be her parents.

Serious Contender.

For my last blog post for Hey Little Magpie I concentrated on using thin dies on my pages. I love the way they can cut both intricate designs & all manner of materials.

Serious Contender.
This photo may be a little blurry but it just shows how determined my daughter was this time last year to finish the 40 mile Chase Walk in a fabulous time of 12 hours. It's a really long way when you are carrying kit & going cross country.
You can find all the details of the papers & products here in my original blog post.
The funky foam arrows make a great addition I think.
Many thanks for looking.

Project Life 2015

After some serious thought and a small family discussion I've decided to continue with Project Life at least for this year. This may sound a little dramatic to some but PL can be quite time consuming, well at least it is for me & I really don't like it when I can't complete a project. So whilst I put the finishing touches to the 2014 album I have ploughed straight into 2015.So rather than reinventing the wheel I've stuck to the same format as last year to try & stay on track.
January.
Including...
... cinema trip, poppies arrived, poorly eye, one little word, friends...
... scrappy weekend, slimming world, teeth extractions, house anniversary...
... Matt awarded his Queens Scout, birthday celebrations, coffee morning, amaryllis...
...scrapbook retreat, snow, brace fitting, cinema trip...
Many thanks for looking x
