One I made earlier...

Feels like flying.
I realised that I had forgotten to share this page, which i made before our holiday.
They feature Harriet on her new swing,
we left her old swing behind as she was outgrowing it
& treated her to a new one for getting a brilliant school report.
Since then we have not been able to keep her off it,
I have managed to sneak a go & I'd forgotten how good it feels !!
The papers are My Minds Eye Quite Contrary
( which certainly suit my pre teen daughter lol )
The flowers are Prima and the stunning butterfly was a gift from
DT team mate Helen Miles.

CHA...

Today sees the start of Summer CHA.
I'm eagerly watching the Scrapagogo blog
for all the latest news and releases.

A favourite of mine has to be this new range from Sassafras.
custom...a word that allures the senses to envision specialty items. one of a kind. timeless. handcrafted. all of the above hold true in the custom "mix and mend" collection where dainty lace and frizzled notebook paper enjoy a friendly mingle.

and also this cute range too
one...two...eyes peeking at you...three...four...more pals to adore! how many cute and crafty projects can be made with this elementary mix of digits?.....countless!

A night on the town

Spent a couple of evenings in Corfu Town exploring their historic old Venetian Fort, walking the narrow streets looking for bargains and sitting in street cafes enjoying a cold beer or two

Augusts Kit & more...

For the last few days I have been playing with the Scrapagogo August kit.
Tokyo Gardens.
It is full of wonderful patterned papers, KI Memories Lace paper, Hambly printed acetate,
Prima blooms, Maya Road chipboard butterflies...
Infact, why not check out their site & see for yourself x
TOGETHER- we can make a difference.
For this page I used Scrapagogo's 6th birthday bash sketch,
based on a layout by the talented DT member Sam Ball.
I have used pics of Harriet & I completing the Race for Life
with some friends of ours.
I have used Scrapagogo Kit Feb 2008 supplies !

Kit Layouts ...

More from the fabulous Scrapagogo July kit.

We love Granny's Jam.
The Jenni Bowlin and October Afternoon papers in this kit were perfect to document our love for my Mum's homemade jam especially when it's in a homemade sponge cake !
The photos were taken using the Hipstamatic app for my i phone.
The alpha is from their co ordinating hybrid range.
Ahoy
I was just blown away by the stamp available this month
and used it to stamp on the canvas bunting to make these nautical flags.
The little boat is made from off cuts with a hybrid flag belong flown aloft.
This is a recent photo of Harriet taken in Florida at Easter.

Scrapagogo July kit

I can't believe how quickly time is flying at the moment
and all subscribers should now have this lush kit in their hands.
Here are 2 of the pages I made from this kit.

Crowning Glory
These pics of Harriet are from 2007 !
The Jenni Bowlin shaped paper was just perfect as a base for this page.
The little bunting stickers and alphas are just great for adding long titles.
The Crown is made from Maya Road chipboard bunting which I inked and is edged with a punched daisy chain.

Field of Gold.
We were driving along when I saw all these fields of Gold
and I just had to have my pic taken in it !
The Prima flowers started off white but with a bit of ink I turned them yellow to co ordinate.

Girlie weekend

My weekend in Bolton was just what I needed right now.
It was fab getting together with the GoGo girls again and teaching for them to a great group of ladies was so enjoyable too.
The whole day went smoothly and everyone concerned seemed to really enjoy themselves,
which was easy with 6 classes, a lovely lunch and all the shop goodies on sale.
Instead of driving straight home, I stayed overnight
( thanks Eileen for being my roomie )
and had a fun, laughter filled evening and then stayed up chatting right into the night.

This is the mini book I taught.

world cup class 7

Here is my version of class 7 using Celines colour combo
, sketch and technique.
I managed to dye my hands a fab shade of red !
which took 12hrs to go!
So it has to be noted that I am getting messier as this course progresses !
I've used old basic grey papers, Thickers and a Pink Paislee artisan element which I altered with alcohol inks.
The photos are of a cake my Auntie very kindly made for my 40th.

Race for Life

Today I took Harriet to take part in her first Race for Life.
We walked with a friend and her daughter.
The girls had been planning their outfits for days and settled on pink tutu's.
We were amongst 5000 local ladies all taking part for the same cause.
The atmosphere was great and so was the weather.
Sharing a moment ! This girl always puts a smile on my face x
Showing off our medals !

allsorts !!

Here is my world cup class 6, using the colour combo, sketch and technique.
To be honest, this is my least favourite technique so far,
but when I signed up I knew Celine's style & mine were very different ! and also I've signed up for stuff in the past and either not finished or not even started them !!
So this time I'm determined to have a go regardless !
Lo highlights that we have been married 17 years ! which is obvious from the title ! lol !

Today saw the launch of a new weekly challenge blog Paper Proposals.
I recommend you check it out & it will certainly give your mojo a helping hand.

and lastly a huge HUGE congratulations to our baby girl on passing the entrance exam to the boys senior school a whole year early , considering how tough this year has been, we are so proud of her xxx
