A little hooky.

When I get a chance to sit down of an evening I like to do a little crochet.I've made blankets in the past but since discovering Toft Alpaca Farm nearby I been hooked on making animals from their Edwards Menagerie book.
I thought I would share with you just a few I've created.
Depending on the wool & hook size you can create them in all sizes.
 Also all colours.
This cutie isn't an Eds Animal instead a famous star of children TV & was a huge hit with my Nephew at Xmas.
They can be a little fiddly but its worth it when its all sewn together & in the arms of their recipient young or old x

Using Basic Grey-Barista.

I thought I would share with you today the pages I made for the Hey Little Magpie blog last December. I've always been a fan of Basic grey papers so as you can imagine I'm gutted that they will no longer be producing paper ranges.

You & Coffee - Enjoy...but its tea for me!!
I may not like coffee but that doesn't stop me scrapping about it!

 Funny Faces
Showcasing phone pics taken at my Brothers wedding reception!

Memorandum Monday - The Girls.

Today finds me joining in with this meme from Sian x
I received these 3 beauties from the children for Mothers Day which was a total surprise. Previously we have had pet chickens for the past 7 or 8 years but after loosing our last one to old age last Easter for some reason we never replaced them.
I learnt this weekend how much I had missed having Girls in our back garden. I'm looking forward to watching them grow, eating their eggs & chatting to them whilst drinking a cuppa in the garden :)
The next big question is what to name them. I'm letting the children name one each & going by their previous choices God help them!!!
