yr6 leavers dinner

Matthew recieved an invitation to attend the year 6 leavers dinner which was to be held in the school hall and the meal served by the teachers.

Matthew had very stong ideas of how he wanted to look for this event.

Guest Designer

I was absolutely thrilled to be given the opportunity to be Scrapagogo's guest designer for their July 2009 kit.

This was an amazing kit to work with and I easily produced 4 layouts and a card and still had plenty left over for more creations.

Scrapping my car!!!!!

Whilst on route to Warrington for a Scrapagogo workshop on Sunday, I was involved in an accident David -v- Goliath style. Unfortunately a 60 tonne mobile crane ran into the back of me scaring the living daylights out of me and Jackie!

Luckily neither of us are seriously injured but we are both certainly feeling the effects now

On Sunday, we attended the Colour Me Happy Too workshop run by Scrapagogo. It was great to be with the GOGO girls again. We did 4 inspirational classes by great teachers, but due to feeling below par we left early when paul drove up to collect us. I'll blog my creations when they are completely finished.

Gilwell 24

This weekend Dan went to Gilwell Park - Scouting HQ - to witness the inauguration of Bear Grylls as the new Chief Scout and also to take part in 24 hours of continuous challenges open to all the Explorer Scouts attending. He had a fab if exhausting time and even got to meet the retiring Chief Scout Peter Duncan

Oasis - Live at The Ricoh

We went to see oasis this week at the Ricoh stadium

Unfortunatly being an open air arena, the standing crowd including us got rather wet.

However that didn't stop us from enjoying the support, The enemy (a Coventry band) who were fab live and bonded with the audience.

The Gallaghers on the other hand seemed tired from their year long touring and Liam was away from the stage for periods of time. Despite this, the crowd loved hearing the old favourites.

Liams parting words"you were great but we were better!!"

You wouldn't expect anything less from him.

Don't I scrub up well!

Whilst I was at the Scrapagogo Retreat I had an outdoor photo session with the fabulous photographer Cheryl Johnson.

I am really thrilled with the results and thought you would like to see a couple of them.

Crafty Stash workshop

On sunday I attended the Crafty Stash workshop at Exhall in Coventry.

Tracie Hudson taught 4 fabulous classes

Sue brought her amazing shop in which I managed to part with a sizeable chunk of money!

Claire and Tracie were terrific hosts and even cooked us a home made lunch.

Great to catch up with old friends and new

I am not going to blog the LO's just yet as this workshop is being repeated within the month at Welling Garden City and I would not want to spoil it for those attending
