About time!

For those of you who know me well, you will be well aware of the long drawn out saga we have had with our kitchen extension

Well it is finally finished and apart from a few finishing touches we are really pleased with the final result.

This also gives me a good excuse to go out and start replacing some of the old tat we had!

In fact we were still using the saucepans we had as wedding presents 16 years ago!!!

Here is the kitchen but the dining end is still empty as we have not yet managed to choose a table! I'll upload photos of the dining end when the table is here.

Yesterday I travelled to London to take part in The Moonwalk Marathon with my friend Yvonne for the second year running. We got started at midnight and with dry but windy weather we had completed the 26.2 miles by 8.00am this morning.

Getting to see the sights of London floodlit at night helps to take your mind off what your feet are trying to achieve!

Feeling shattered now - feet sore but no blisters.

With the support and donations from friends and family I have raised in excess of £600 before giftaid and with a record 18000 participants today I hope this worthwhile breast cancer charity beats last year's £9million raised.
