Half way through...

We flew up to Brisbane to meet up with friends who emigrated there a couple of years ago.

We visited Australia Zoo, stroked Roos & held a koala.

We went humpback whale watching at Moreton Island.

We saw 10!!

We went to Noosa Heads for Ekka day & Harriet braved the sea!

Chilling at Des & Julies house.

Redcliffe, where they live is beautifully situated on the coast & we went shell seeking & collecting sea glass.

Had a blast in Sydney

The second phase of our trip is over already & what a great time we had despite having very mixed weather.

We walked around the Botanical Gardens taking in the views of the Harbour.

We caught up with my cousin, her husband & beautiful daughters. Loving their company & their awesome home xxx

We sailed around the Harbour area enjoying an Aussie afternoon tea.

We spent a wet afternoon at the vintage fairground Luna Park.

We ate shed loads of stunning icecream with chocolate salted caramel being my top favourite.

We visited the Blue Mountains & the 3 Sisters.

We visited Featherdale Wildlife Centre & fed wallabys & Roos by hand.

I hope we will return here again as we have so enjoyed our short stay.

First Stop - Singapore

This past week has been a total whirlwind for us as we have experienced lots of what Singapore has to offer.
Travel is so easy here as their MRT (tube) system is clean & efficient with all the signs in multiple languages including english.

We have seen all types of weather from hot & humid to thunder storms.

Top highlights...
Having breakfast with Orangutans

Having a Singapore Sling in Raffles Long Bar.

Strolling on the beaches on Sentosa.

Riding the Angry Bird cable car to Sentosa, which was just about bareable for someone who hates heights.( she had her eyes closed!!)

plus
feeding giraffes
riding an elephant
the sights & smells of Little India
visiting a Buddest Temple...
next stop Sydney
